One Fateful Day: Super Shorts
Originally these Super Shorts (which is a play on words, you know, cuz he wears boxers on the outside of his costume) were created to be filler between the one a month episodes I was creating. Often channels will start off doing lots of animations and move to skits because it's less work and therefore easier to produce many videos. I was hesitant, and considered doing one live video a month more as filler, but was so happy when the idea for these videos came. After talking with Jayson I was able to refine what I wanted. Short 15-30 seconds of a conversation containing three lines of dialogue. This was the concept I had developed for the comics and the books I started. So I applied it to animations.
One Fateful Day: Shameless Self Promotion
I think when most of us create, whether is animations or books or crafts, we assume everyone will be as interested in what we create as we are. That they will be bursting through the door just see. The unfortunate reality is many people haven't heard of you or don't care. It's difficult to market original intellectual properties. If you parodied existing ip's people would find you because they are already searching for it. Also it can be tough at time to must the confidence for self promotion. That's why it's important to do what you love and love what you make. Then you will not be scared to show the world.
One Fateful Day: Full Moon
I recall the story of my graduation. The moon was full that evening. Or was it the afternoon?
One Fateful Day: Marketing 101
This, sadly, was what we did in our first attempts to market the animations...tshirts. We are new at this and had no experience. They were great tshirts though.
One Fateful Day: Ego to Feed
Most heroes, heck even most protagonists in general, have lost some sort of parental figure. Overdone is an understatement. Well our hero's entire family is still alive. Just for something different.
